Life Story: My childhood was actually quite good, until my father left us. After that there was no more money, because my mother didn’t have a job neither. So I stopped my studies and started to work in the tourist industry in Kovalam. Thanks to that I do master my English and got to know some really nice people. Gradually I became more and more interested in Ayurveda, the traditional medicine of Kerala. Because I have some ambition in my life I’ve studied to become an Ayurveda therapist and now that is my profession. On Sundays I’m also following a self-study program so I can get my 10th standard degree​​​​​​​​​​.

​Surf Experience & Motivation: ​Mani, the president of the Surfclub, has always been my good friend and through him I also got to know Jelle. The boys from the Surfclub taught me how to surf last monsoon and I already have my own board now. When the tourist season is over in Kovalam and I have some more time, you will find me every day in the water. My ambition is to become a really good surfer, because I love surfing.
